Red
Wigglers - The Ultimate Composting Worms
Say
hello to nature’s mini clean-up crew!
Red Wigglers (Eisenia Fetida) are the
most popular composting worm species, capable of quickly converting large
amounts of organic waste into valuable, nutrient-rich worm castings. This
vermicompost, high in nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, and essential
micronutrients, enriches and conditions your soil for improved plant growth and
yield. These wiggly overachievers also help aerate the soil and improve soil
structure and water retention.
We
Deliver a Thriving Community of Red Wigglers
Our vibrant mix of 125 live red wiggler worms (1/8 Pound) includes babies, juveniles, and adults.
We ship these red worms from Monday to Friday of every week at 9 AM.
They’re 100% guaranteed to arrive alive and
ready for any task, whether it’s taking on the compost heap or the fish hook. For your convenience, you do not need to create a store account to purchase worms, and we use a single page checkout to make your worm purchase fast and easy.
Why Are Our Red Wiggler Worms the Life of the Worm Composting Party?
They’re always Hungry: These compost worms
love munching on organic matter and can eat their body weight each day. Watch
them rapidly turn yesterday’s leftovers and garden waste into ‘black gold’—an
intensely nutritious fertilizer your plants will love.
They don’t sweat the small stuff: With
sufficient moisture and organic waste, red worms are capable of powering
through a wide range of cold and warm temperatures.
They breed Like...Err, Worms: The red wiggler
worms are capable of doubling in population every 2-3 months. So, before you
know it, this batch of 125 worms will turn into a thriving community of wiggly
composters!
Adaptable And Versatile
Our red wiggler worms make an excellent bait,
helping you catch fish like white and yellow perch, bluegill, shellcrackers,
catfish and mountain trout. Feed them high-protein alfalfa pellets or a mazuri
earthworm diet to help them grow into bait-sized worms. They’re also a highly
nutritious snack for your pets.
We're
Strictly ‘Team Red Wiggler’
No Indian Blue Worms (Perionyx Excavatus) in
our mix. Blue worms are not only vulnerable to the cold but are also not
suitable as fish bait due to their thinner skin. While other worm sellers might
include blue worms in their wiggler mixes, we take the utmost care to ensure
our Red Wigglers are not contaminated by any undesirable species.
