Red Wigglers are guaranteed to be delivered to our customers alive. We have many years of experience in shipping worms, and lots of compost and insulation is used while packing your order to ensure safe arrival. We only raise and harvest healthy worms for all of our customers. To ensure the highest quality, we will never drop ship worms from other farms. Unlike many worm farms that only ship early in the week, we send orders on Monday-Friday of every week. The cutoff time for shipping on a particular day is 9AM. Orders placed after that time will go out during the next shipping timeframe. An email will be sent from our store with your tracking number. Please check both your regular inbox and your spam folder, as sometimes your email provider will send a legitimate email from us to your spam folder in error. We reserve the right to withhold shipments due to extreme weather. Please note that orders are limited to two pounds of worms per individual order. If an order is placed over this threshold, your order will be cancelled, and your money will be refunded.
Shipping and Live arrival guarantee:
Please make sure that your full name and an accurate and current shipping address is supplied when you place your order. Our carriers will not be able to successfully deliver a package with incomplete or inaccurate shipping information and we will not be held liable for orders dispatched to undeliverable customer supplied addresses. We will take care of you in the extremely rare instance that your worms are dead on arrival. Fortunately, we have not had a single dead shipment for the past two years. However, if in the rare case a dead shipment does occur, we will send you replacement worms at our cost. You must email us within 12 hours of receiving a dead shipment. In order to validate the 100% live arrival guarantee, you will need to provide video evidence of the dead worms next to the box and cloth bag they were shipped in. A video is easy to make on any smart phone these days. Once we have verified that your worms were killed by the shipping company, we will dispatch a new order of worms free of charge. Please note that worms can only be replaced once at our cost. If you change your shipping address after your order has been shipped, the live arrival guarantee will be void. Once the worms have been successfully delivered alive, our live delivery guarantee has been fulfilled. It is now your responsibility to follow healthy bin management practices to keep your worms alive.
Live Pickup Guarantee:
When you pick up the worms, they are delivered alive and healthy to you as the customer. Once the worms are in your possession, it is your responsibility to keep them alive. Worms left in an unattended car during freezing or hot temperatures will certainly perish. Refunds or replacements will not be issued to customers that kill their worms after picking them up. To keep your worms alive, hold them in a climate-controlled area until you can put them in your worm bed. The worms are packed in a cloth bag, compost, and a cardboard box with lots of insulation, and can survive several days with this packaging before being placed in a worm bin.
